Welcome to the Troppo Big Band Jazz Orchestra Website

Step back into an era where the bands were big and the music was magical! The Troppo Big Band Jazz Orchestra brings back many of the musical memories of the 1940's and 50's, including current contemporary Big Band arrangements.

Performing classics from artists such as: Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Woody Herman, Benny Goodman, Maynard Ferguson and more. Please take time to listen to our audio samples.

Troppo Big Band makes it's home in the Chippewa Valley of Western Wisconsin. The band started as a grass roots effort in early 2004, and has blossomed into a full 20+ piece Big Band Orchestra. The group features musicians of all ages throughout the Chippewa Valley, and enjoys an extensive line of talent, with years of performing experience behind them.
